AIM
The primary aim of the Rachana Sharir Department is to impart sound and systematic knowledge of Ayurvedic anatomy to undergraduate students, enabling them to understand normal body structure, variations, and their clinical relevance. The department aims to develop competent Ayurvedic physicians with a strong anatomical base, ethical values, and research-oriented thinking, in accordance with NCISM guidelines.
UTILITY
Rachana Sharir explains the built of the human bodyaccording to Ayurveda, including the structure of organs, tissues, channels and vital parts. This anatomy knowledge helps students to understand the healthy body and diseseased condition of the body. It guides the students to examine the patients, to identify the prakriti, strength and overall health, and giving proper treatment.
