The Department of Roganidan evum VikṛtiVigyan forms the cornerstone of Ayurvedic clinical science. It focuses on the systematic understanding of Nidāna (etiology), Pūrvarūpa (prodromal symptoms), Rūpa (clinical features), Saṃprāpti (pathogenesis), and Upadrava (complications) of diseases as described in classical Ayurvedic texts, while correlating them with contemporary diagnostic concepts.
The department trains students to develop sharp diagnostic skills, sound clinical reasoning, and a holistic approach to disease assessment by integrating DaśavidhaParīkṣā, AṣṭavidhaParīkṣā, TrividhaParīkṣā, and modern investigative tools.
